Linda wants me to restore this doll, patented in 1881 by Fritz Bartenstein, I may haven bitten off more than I can chew ! :hlp: :o :o
-
Hmmm I think you might have a challenge on your hands, Keith!
-
The work so far, looks like a botched plastic surgery at the moment, lots more to do including removing the bright red 'lippy' !
-
She's getting there, Keith!
-
Just stripped it all back, smoothed and re painted, when the granddaughters come round I don't want them to have nightmares ! :o ;D
-
Still a bit stern looking but the faces are based on dolls of the same period, dressed in original silk gown ! getting clay and acrylics to stick to half damaged wax heads is a bit of a pain. Would you believe I'm missing the football to do this, shame :24:
-
Earning lots of brownie points though, Keith! :)
-
Not really, I hate football, cricket, tennis, rugby etc.......... 8:) ;D ;D
-
Same here! I'd far rather read a book or do crafts or paint. :)
-
Always wanted to restore old furniture, but need a garage and lots of space ( and money ! ) our place is far to small !
-
I so know that feeling, Keith. I have a small bedroom for my painting and crafts, the bigger stuff I have to take outside and put it on top of the storage bunker.
-
Good work Keith
Can you sort out my turkey neck ;D
-
Still got some clay left, not sure if that would work, I'll try it on me missus first, if I survive I'll let you know :o ;D ;D
