Title: The Book of Knowledge
Post by: antiquerose123 on January 31, 2008, 10:25:13 PM
Got this from a garage sale...there are 3 different books.  These have seen tough times over the years...and not in the greatest condition, but it looks like these are from 1923...or so...

Hi:

just doing some trawling on the Net and I found this link here about these books.  Seems like some good info there.

Worth a Look, and a read  :cheerleader:

I grew up with a set of these, like the 1928 set shown here: http://www.hstreasures.com/bookofknowledge.html and I have a set from the 1930s on my bookshelf still, which my son adored when he was younger.

And I grew up with the book of knowledge, hmmmm, very late 50's/early 60's. (Not sure when my parents actually purchased them but the kids started arriving in '56.
