Hmmm curiously, googling for the poem brings absolutely nothing up, zilch, nada! Which is curious! I'll sleep on it. :)
Cheers!

The design around the quotation looks '30's to me.

Is it just a paper insert in the pic with the frame (the part with the poem on it)  -- or am I misunderstanding something??

It might have been sold as a Mother's Day gift.
If it hadn't had a brass frame, I might have thought it was a modern repro, but obviously not.
Its surprising what mirrors go for at our local auction house :o

Hi Anne E.B. no it`s not a repro, but i think it may be  from Canada or the U.S.of.A . Pure`ly by the design of the cottage ?

The frame is slightly different but there's another with the same image / poem turned up in Google's cache of a webpage LINK - that one was on sale in Chicago, Illinois, 60616, US and is listed as a Black & Gold Eckardt - but I can't figure out who Eckardt might be. Does that name appear on yours too Rob?
Cheers!
