Hi Kev,
Haven't had any luck either, apart from finding a mention in antikbrevkassen.dk
No info about person, just says the atelier was in the town, on the island of Sj?lland. You could try searching with the word"Fakse" instead of "Faxe", same place just different spellings!  :)

Aine, would this have been made for the British market as most of the wording is in English?

Hi Sue, could well be. Checked with the query on the website I mentioned and the items there just had "Ernst Faxe" plus a number on the base.
According to the website, Ernst pieces are not uncommon.
