Title: Okay, I give up, what is this pot for?

This is the third one I've seen. I think they are mean't to have lids but not sure. Am i right in thinking that they are Oriental?

Hi TC, when i lived in Hong Kong and we visited a temple, the had something similar to this with incense stick's in them, dont know if these are the same though?

LOL, no it was filled with sand and the long tapers were stuck into it while still smoking
