Hi Pat, that's an impressive-looking jug. What a great handle!   8)

I've not heard of Bequet before so I googled him and found he was Hubert Bequet of Quaregnon in Belgium. Apparently active in the early and mid 20th century, but the dates I found varied and contradicted each other!  Has anyone any accurate info on this pottery please?

I've never heard of him either Anne, you can certainly see the Flemish in the design of the jug, very like some Gouda from about the same period.

There's quite a bit on ebay for sale in Belgium. The 1950's stuff fetches more money
