Hi everyone,
I'm foxed by this little dish. It's woven like a basket, and the strips of porcelain even have a texture on them. No marks to help out on this one, strange that the glaze is on the base of the dish too, which has the number 935 and 2 under that pressed into it. I used to use it for pot pourri until the cats discovered the joy of playing in it. Someone told me it could be creamware but that looks much more elegant and detailed than this.
If the great minds on this website can help out I'd be grateful

Hi, i think it is creamware, the problem is there was any number if potteries making creamware and still are today, and it isnt unusual to find the dish glazed on the base as the wholepiece would have been dipped into the wet glaze, anyway i like it :)
