Title: Horse wall plaque
Post by: Tigerchips on May 15, 2008, 11:25:53 PM
I didn't think it would be diffiicult to identify a wall plaque until I found these two.

It has the same Pacman eyes as this one...

I bought the horse plaque with a Keele Street Pottery flying duck so i'm wondering...?

I've looked in the Beswick and Sylvac book but nothing.

TC have you looked through this site? http://www.bossonsdatabase.com/home.whb They seem to do a lot of the animal head plaques amongst all sorts of other stuff! Amazing site.

Thank's Anne. Bossons are usually made from plaster, though I think they also did pottery too. I've had a look but, alas no, non the same.

Yeah, it's in with my bookmarks too.

Here are some companies that are known to have produced wall plaque's but there are probably many more.
Beswick
Sylvac
Keele Street Pottery
Cortendorf
Grindley
Goldscheider
Jema
Midwinter

I have but I can't seem to find any wall plaques by them. Coopercraft has wall plaques but they seem to be all matte ones.
