Title: Id please freeform vase ?

Hi, im new to the forum this has been on my shelf for years any info appreciated, it is a stoneware vase l would call it freeform looks like poole freeform but probably isnt as its not marked poole, has an artists monogram on base, thanks Kieran

This doesn't look like stoneware to me, are you sure it says stoneware? Is there a space inbetween (.....E WARE)? If so, it might be a tradename or the name of a company, like Empire Ware, Burleigh Ware, etc...

Could you take a closer picture of just the wording please?
Look's a bit like the mark for William Gordon.

Hi, im pretty sure it says stoneware it feels like a well made piece of studio pottery, the wavy lines on the vase are raised

I think this is the mark for William Gordon, painted mark and also with the words Made In England.
I will see if i can find one somewhere.

Hi, ive been searching william gordon it seems he made 1950s studio pottery at Brampton and old whittington, i'll have to do a bit more digging to satisfy my curiosity, cheers kieran
