Title: Id needed scottish pottery vase ? RPS

pottery vase 4  3/4 inches high
stamped on base RPS , x in a square looks very much like st andrews cross
and written 1733 , scottish seems likely as found in scotland, thanks kieran

The photo of the mark is a little fuzzy, could maybe get a clearer one?

Kieran, does your camera have a macro mode? (usually shown as a little flower symbol) - if so, try using that to get the mark - you should be able to focus much closer than normal or zoom mode.
