I bought this a while back. It's in the Royal Winton 'Evesham' pattern. I've been struggling to find another one the same. :)

Not the same Tony but similar shape ebay 260235565373

Thanks Sue, I can find Royal Winton Chintz baskets alright but not in this pattern. Must be scarce or something.

Actually, that one looks newer as it has 1995 on it. I think I have the old backstamp on mine.
It's the same as Rose's Royal Winton Mark except mine has RD numbers on it...

Post 1951 I think because it says CAN. RD. 1951 (1 I think)
-
It does but I'm not sure if it's a date or a registration number....
... I Googled "Can RD.1951" and found several Royal Winton items with different shapes and patterns so you're probably right about that being a date.
-
Anne, can you correct my error on this page please?

The date of the mark isn't correct and unless someone can find the exact date I would just leave it blank for now. :sign_sorry:

The NZ design registry is online and it has design no. 9484 as a skeleton record, dated 26.10.1951, design for crockery or pottery, so Christine's spot on with the date. :)

Cheers. :clap2:

(xx) :24: blind you say...

'Date of this mark: c.1934-50' should be deleted just in case it's incorrect. There are different versions of this mark.
See.... http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/g/grimwades.html
The mark on my piece has an 'A' on it, so it's slightly different.

Done. :)
