Title: Rye Whiskey - Regal China Decanter - Grain Elevator
Post by: antiquerose123 on August 22, 2008, 03:23:34 AM
Hi, thought I would show you a couple of my collectibles here.  It is in the shape of a grain elevator.  They were made to celebration of *Saskatchewan* 85th year (1905-1990) as a province, after the confederation.

It HAD 5 year old Canadian aged Rye whiskey in it then....(all gone now).... :bzy: It was a limited edition commission by the Government for this.  One is marked, the other is not.  It says on the bottom:

" GENUINE REGAL CHINA 1990 "

So it is now only 18 years old, but on it way to being collectible, as it was limited, and is china.  Actually, I think these type of things (Rye decanters) go for some good $$

Just thought I would post for you....IF you ever see one over the pond.......think of me-e-e-e-e-e-e......

(( it still is Pottery.......isn't it, or did I post wrong? ))
