Hi, I got this for $1.00 at a garage sale. It is very large, approx 12 inches high. I guess I will let the pics speak for themselves, but the last pix of the bottom says:
OMB LIQUER BOTTLE
No. 12 1971
ROYAL HALBURTON CHINA
1) Front
2) Back
3) Close of wording on back
4) Bottom
Tia, if anyone knows about these, I sure would appreciate. :)

Have a read about the FOE here Rose: http://www.foe.com/ and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraternal_Order_of_Eagles.
It could have been a convention souvenir or more possibly, one of the fund-raising items for their Golden Eagle Fund, established in 1972. 8)

Gee thanks Ann:
Yeah, since this is dated 1971, and that link said their golden Eagle Fund was established in 1972. (Maybe) this is significant since the only other fund was in 1944, and (maybe) they had NO (??) souvenir things for that one, and this was the very first souvenir thing for them...
We will have to check, and see if we can find another one like this....or something. I bought it for ONE dollar.
...Call me "El-cheap O" :-\

Rose, yours is dated 1972 not 1971. :)

lol
Ann, I got the 1971 date stuck in my head cuz the 4th photo shows the bottom of the decanter, and it says: No 12 1971
But then the stuff on the decanter, said 1972, so it is significant, just the decanters were made/designed in 1971. You are right as to 1972..
I am trying to find something like it to compare, as value comparison. :notme:
