Title: Royal Canadian Art Pottery (Teapot)-marked
Post by: antiquerose123 on August 27, 2008, 08:10:32 PM
Hi, just got this little gem of a Teapot.  Regular sized, with a brown, foamy glaze on it.  Shows some white clay on bottom, and says:

"ROYAL CANADIAN ART POTTERY, HAMILTON ONT" then has what looks like a hand-drawn Maple Leaf on it.

I had posted another piece previously (with marking, and label) here, CREAMER LINK (Note clay is red colored there ): http://www.yobunny.com/pottery/index.php?topic=4102.0

The teapot markings appear a bit different than the Creamer- perhaps the Teapot is older (??) and this is how they were marked earlier - before they had the Red/Gold foil label, but that is unknown...
