Title: Earthenware studio pot mug signed RB
Post by: Anne E.B. on January 01, 2009, 12:39:52 PM
Any ideas on who might have made this please?  Earthenware mug with primitive incised face on both sides.  Incised RB (?) on base.
Only just started looking for this one, so haven't covered all bases locally yet.  Not in British Studio Potters Marks.

Sorry appeared to have downloaded same image twice...

The actual mug itself is really well made, but the decoration is naive which might give the impression its made by someone in a pottery class.  On reflection, I think it might be a 'seconds' because there is a small area which isn't covered by glaze (see pic.)

Ideal size for soup
