Can anyone tell me anything about this Royal Swan dinner service. I can't find any information anywhere on the net but i'm probably looking in all the wrong places!

Hi and welcome to the board.
Royal Swan was one of the marks used by Booth's & Colclough according to http://www.retroselect.com/Backstamps/R%20backstamps.htm. Can we see what the rest of the marks below ENGLAND on the back look like please?
Your piece looks similar to this one:
http://www.replacements.com/webquote/RSNRSN3.htm but the colour of the panels is green whereas yours look more brown/burgundy?

Hi Anne, thanks for your reply.

The other marks are as above, with a three digit number for each type of piece in the set.
What value would this kind of set have?

This dates to 1954-1960. Probably doesn't have an awful lot of value, 50s/60s floral tends not to unless it's something really special, but I could be wrong
