Title: Retro luggage

Hi I have this blue and white luggage thing.  I had one similar to this when I was young (years ago) that I used to put my Barbies in....so I must have been around 10...  So I am thinking that this must be about 38 years old, or from around the 1970's era.

Anyone know more about this?  And what exactly is it called as it is not a suitcase, or a hat box....so what is the correct name for it?

Does it have little pockets and holders inside Rose? It could be a vanity case - for ladies to carry their necessaries with them - you know, make up and suchlike. :)
