I don't think we'll find a manufacturer for this but here it is....

....just for show....

...probably 19th century...

....almost called it a 'slagware shoe' until i realized, lol...

Is it the glaze that's agatey or the clay?

The glaze is agatey, the clay is terracotta. Do you see these very often?

I've never seen one, but I do know that there is a type of pottery made from marbled clay (like slag glass), so I was wondering if this was an example

I guess that means I should call it 'marbled agate ware' rather than 'solid agate ware'.
