Title: Pot with M mark and strange stringy bits!
Post by: Anne on April 05, 2009, 08:53:51 PM
I'm at a loss to know how to describe the stringy bits so hope they ring a bell with someone!

I can't find the M mark either, so any suggestions as to who, where, when would be most welcome, thank you.  :bny:

Dang!   Forgot the dimensions: height= 70mm, top diameter = 70mm, widest point diameter = 90mm, so only a small pot.

A bird? A *M*? or maybe even a *W* if they quickly just stamped it with the stamp upside down?

Anything is possible as we have seen....

Now that I look at it again, perhaps it is a RAM (sheep) head with horns?  :hlp:
