Well, if no one knows where this saucy madam originated from, at least it will bring a smile to peeps' faces. :gcheer:

I've honestly never seen the like - could it be from a puppet show perhaps?

Too late! :hlp:  But I'm hoping the physiotherapy will help >:D

I think its just a novelty as its meant to be hung from something, and there's a thin chord to pull on which would appear to be threaded around her limbs.  It seems quite old, and for some strange reason which I can't explain, I immediately thought it might be French.  She's riveted together and has a wooden head.

She's now featured on a poster for the Adelphi Club in Hull ;D

Neat....You should see if you are able to an actual *poster* to keep with your lady -- sort like some Provence to go with it (?) as a figure also in ART.  :fch:
