Title: Crested China
Post by: caterer on April 27, 2009, 12:39:16 PM
hi
I have a piece of crested china which I would love to know what it is for, the crest is city of london and it is made by gemma,
I dont think it holds much value but I am intrigued as to what it is.
Thanks  :)

It's a condiment set. Salt in the flatter bowl, mustard in the upright bowl and pepper in the shaker. It might have more value because it's an unusual item for crested ware.

Thank you for that, I was racking my brains as to what it was and I certainly did not think of that.
