Hi there....my, my how beautiful that is!!

Is that carved wood, or some sort of finish ontop of the wood? Besides maybe paint...it is just that it looks like the paint to have almost a leather look to it, BUT I assume it is not leather.....right?  Just paint?

Why must all these people have sloppy writing.....GEEZZZZZZZZZZZ....If I were to take a guess:  :czy:

RAI SUHLEQUIT__  OR RAI SCHLEQUIT.... ???  ???

What do you think are the letter?  Have you tried to dust it with some white talc powder, and brush off slightly to see if it helps to accent the writing any better?  Try it....and post us a pic.

Thanks  :D

I think the initials are R L .... then the next bit looks like Sch ... followed by either le or a u .... so Schle... or Schlu ... or even Schu... but the next bit has me stumped!  Starting with Sch makes me wonder if it's a German name?
