Title: Vintage COPPER Pot
Post by: antiquerose123 on May 17, 2009, 06:15:27 AM
Hi just got this (here's me hogging the board again...) ;D .....garage sales time again... :cheerleader:

It is a copper pot, with like lion heads on it.  Looks to be a bit old.  There is a label on it that says *Made in Holland* so I am wondering if anyone can date this by the looks, or the label.  Is it vintage, or not....

Any other info most welcome...TIA

The only thing I know to look for with copper is the tubular handles,if there is a seam then it has some age(how much I'm not sure ???)and any seams in the body should be crenelated you know like a castle wall, afraid that's my total knowledge in copperware ;D
