Hi could someone take a look at this vase as it may jog someones memory as to the manufacturer and date of making,it is 12cm high,very shiny and smooth with impression of GERMANY 535.12 on the base..Lynn

Hi there:
I would think (now) that this is West German Pottery (WGP) also and sort of similar to mine with the gold trim. I myself did not know that WGP had gold trim either. See post here: http://www.yobunny.com/pottery/index.php?topic=10916.0
I think the 535 is the style number, and the 12 is the height....whether inches or centimeters.
I am still learning but looks similar to mine with the gold trim.

I have had several pieces like these in the past, they are late '50s-early '60s, and the maker is possibly Carstens Tonnieshof, who used a lot of golds and autumn tones with that high-fired glaze.
