Title: Leonardo opera glasses!?
Post by: keith on February 11, 2010, 09:21:18 PM: Found these today,I'm aware of their 'tacky' (no offense meant) usual stuff but never anything like this,can only just read 'Leonardo' on the label,are these common or what?

I think field rather than opera as my son has a genuine original set of these which look like this and which came from someone who carried them in the trenches during WW1. Opera ones were normally more fancy - in white or cream or gilded.

I've never seen a ceramic model of them before though... not much help am I? :(

Wonder if you could e-mail that seller, and ask IF there is a Label on that item -- just we can see IF the two labels are the same.....(just a thought...)
