Title: Brown Slipware Punch Jug
Post by: Tigerchips on February 18, 2010, 07:25:27 PM
Lol, i bet it wasn't what you were thinking?

Punch as in Punch and Judy.

This one looks Victorian or older. It'll probably be by one of the Staffordshire companies and one of a pair.

Ugly ain't it? I hope i didn't spoil your dinner, lol.

Has anyone seen a brown slipware one before?

Just a thought - may be antipodean - looks rather Moaori like with the line pattern on the face.
