Title: White pot with 'etched' pattern?????

2 inches high,don't know what it's made of,the pattern reminds me of scrimshaw work,it feels like soapstone but maybe resin,help,

It might be Scrimshaw.

Thanks 'Tiger' they do look very similar,old or 'oldee' looking,still can't tell.
