Title: Old Camera w/boxes and Instruction booklet
Post by: antiquerose123 on April 01, 2010, 05:54:46 AM
Hi Have this old pop out Camera that is in really good shape.  Looks like it was very well cared for (it was my Aunts).  It still has the packing cardboard box (nothing on it) plus the inside box from inside that box.  It also has the instructions to it.  It is called a WIRGIN.  Not sure of the date, but I am going to have to take a look around it better for info.

Here are the pics.  When you pop it open - it is almost like new shape.  Any idea year made?

Between 1920 and 1939 Rose, you can probably pin it down closer if you know which model it is... this page should help a lot: http://www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Wirgin ::

I've one of these type somewhere upstairs in the cupboard (along with a half dozen other old cameras!) - mine's a Voigtlander though. I'll try and dig it out and add pics sometime. :)

Keith what make is yours?

I will take a closer look for any numbers on this -- I have to *dig* it out again....yeesh.....lol

Wow it is around from about 70 - 90 years old.  This was kept in very good condition..
