Title: Spirit burner or what?

Or could it be this (maybe the EH looks like another RH on your item) This is from the same link page above:

Wow, now that's an old burner!

You might want to look into some of the Christopher Dresser designs because i think this looks like an arts and crafts piece, perhaps some kind of unique vessel was fitted on top or something.
