Title: Brass and Marble Piece - Signed (?)

Hi I got this a while ago and have been googling around here.  Looks like it says BIJAN with a Copyright mark on it. I have found stuff about a guy name, and it appears that he did work with brass -- but this looks a little simple compared to some things I found.

...or is my item just a mass produced item for HIS company.   I am not sure.  Anyways, I better keep it tucked away, until I am sure about it.
