Title: African carving,Benin?

We call her Polly 'cos she looks Polynesian 8:) but after looking round I think she is West African,does anyone think she's old or a deliberately worn down tourist piece just made to look old? ???

P.s,quite heavy and 20 inches high.

Hi Keith -
This is out of my realm there - I would have no idea.  Looks nice, and it looks old to me......but I have been fooled before ;)
