:hlp: I have this small version of a Sylvac scardy cat, there are no marks on the bottom which makes me suspicious. I wonder if anyone can tell me if there have been pieces made without makers marks?
-
Are there any numbers, sometimes they are quite faint, have seen some Sylvac without marks but not really my field, welcome to the board,Keith.

According to Vicky Hooper writing in Collect It issue July 2010, some Sylvac pieces are not marked. I think TC has a book of Sylvac patterns so he may be able to check it for you when he's next on the board.

Thanks Keith & Ann-I have had a good look with a magnifier but nothing is there, hope someone will be able to help.

How big is it. Could it be Wade? (Think Red Rose Tea, Rose)

I can only find two versions of the frightened cat. No 1046 should be about 6 inches high, and No 1313 should be about 16 inches high.
-
hi, not all sylvac is marked i have a small rabbit model 1386 with no marks apparently thats the norm on the smallest two rabbits, whether or not this apply's to your cat???

:gcheer: there, just to add my pics here.....
I think I found my first SylvaC Scardy Cat too. He is *sweet*. He is not very big -- only about 3 inches tall to the top of his tail. He has no marks on him either, but looks to be the scardy cat that was talked about here. I paid $2 for him, and with Halloween around the corner, I could not pass him by.
Thanks!
