Title: BEAUTIFUL LAMPBASE ID AND MAKER PLEASE

Hi please take a look at this pretty lampbase,it has MADE IN ENGLAND ink print to the base with an imprint of No 838 with a hand written 1821 N or Z.... it is 5 1/2" lank you for your interest.Lynn

Hi Lynn, Could be very wrong here but reminds me of some pieces by Shorter & Son, its a possibility and maybe 1950's.
