Hi, I was wondering if someone could ID the mark on the base of a small pretty blue dish I got from a house clearance. I've really taken a liking to it and was just wondering about it's history.

Thanks for the welcome, sorry, I didn't think to post a pic of the dish also.. the size is 4?" across and 1?" high. here is the pic...

I've been looking for the mark and no luck yet,in fact I'm stumped ??? and now I've seen the bowl I'm ??? ??? ??? :thd:,not sure where it's from now,if you don't mind me using the images there's a forum I use sometimes and I'll post them there,it takes a while but they're pretty good with Oriental stuff ;D,meanwhile I'll look further ;D

Have heard back from the forum and it seems you have a late 20th century Japanese export bowl,the marks on the base are(they believe)a studio mark,if I hear anything else I'll let you know ;D
