Hi there and Welcome to the Board  :cheerleader: :cheerleader:

I have never seen one like that , and did some looking around the Net here -- could this be the same as yours  CLICK Here  (http://www.tias.com/10925/PictPage/3923717525.html)

If so, that one was made early 1900's, and in Germany....also says Silver Plate?  Is it the same via the looks, and the Size?  Is that a different bottom, or did they come together also?

thanks....and Again Welcome :cheerleader:

Hi, yes it does look the same, yes the bottom came with it.  Is there an easy way to tell if its siver?  The only marking on it is 'Foreign' on the underneath side of the handle.  Thanks for your reply.

Hi there -
i am not sure, can a store test for Silver?  I would not polish it, or anything....as it looks nice that was.

Someone else might be able to help you on that question...

Yes you can test for silver but as with anything like this, be careful and try not to damage the item doing it. http://www.howtotestsilver.com/
