Title: spode heart shaped trinket box
Post by: wilcalinda on April 22, 2011, 02:29:40 AM
I collect heart shaped trinket boxes from all over the world and am looking to purchase one for my collection that is made of bone china by spode, there is no history on the item and am wondering if there are any spode experts out there who may know of this box or know who may have this info, it is a white bone china heart shaped trinket box with removable lid, it is 3 1/8" x 3 1/2" x 1 7/8" high with the lid on, it is all white with gold trim around the edge of the lid with small green shamrocks encircling the lid and at the center of the lid is a green/gold Irish lire or harp, on the bottom is stamped spode bone china england an either F1008 or F100B,[ the last letter is unclear,] and all marks are under the glaze. Thanks for listening any help would be greatly appreciated. William

Hi there -- and Welcome to the board, my Canadian Friend, EH!  :cheerleader:

Are you talking about  THIS HERE (click)  (http://cgi.ebay.com/Vtg-Spode-Shamrock-Heart-Trinket-Harp-Box-/150591301309?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230ff0e6bd)  If that is the one, it is only $12.99 (USA)

Here is another one also from the states for $24.99  click HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/SPODE-HEART-SHAPED-TRINKET-BOX-SHAMROCKS-AND-HARP-/290492841189?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a2b8fce5)

Do you do Ebay?  If not do any of your friends?  Just wondering where are you located in Canada?

Again Welcome  :cheerleader:  Hope that helps.

Know nothing about Spode, but know how to try to Google when it comes to trying to find things... :24:  Sometimes I luck out..
