Title: Sunday's Bootie Buys
Post by: terrapotter on June 27, 2011, 07:48:40 PM
I went out to the local big bootsale to look for stock for my business, but as usual I ended up with more pottery pieces  :good:
I did have one good find a piece of Ray Finch! the mark is not all there but I am sure it is right. The only query I have is the impressed letter in the base? In this case a capital T any ideas

Hi there, and Welcome to the Board.  :gcheer: :gcheer: :gcheer:

On the last pic you posted here with the T on the bottom --- what is that mark on the Right Hand side (the outside) that a person can see in the pic?

Is that a design?   As i do not see more of that design there IF it is ??  Always good to post one item per topic (post)

Again Welcome.  ;D

Hi thank you for the welcome the mark you see on the right of the last image is that of Ray Finch, Winchcombe  (I believe!) Here is a close up of that image.
I am curious about the letter T if anyone can throw any information on it?

We think the 'B' is so that it could be matched with the lid (which also has an incesed 'B') after the firing.
