Title: 1st Post - Small eartehnware vase mared 'ANNA', ID help
Post by: lilypot2007 on August 06, 2011, 02:35:07 PM
Good afternoon to everybody and thank you for letting me join your forum.
I am an avid collector and seller of ceramics, in particular, vintage and studio wares. I cherry-pick the ones I like and pass the others on to other collectors, if I make a few pennies along the way they invariably go back into buying more!
I found this small earthenware vase today, a nice conical shape, 10cm in height. The pattern is incised as is the makers mark 'ANNA' to the base.
Does anybody have any idea who Anna is?
I hope the images are ok, I read the tutorial on re-sizing!

Hi and welcome to the board. :)  Your pot design looks familiar but I don't recognise the Anna stamp...

Thank you Anne for the welcome. I am certain I have seen this mark before but I research so many of these a week my brain is probably scrambled. I shall keep on trawling and hopefully one of the members will recognise it
