Title: Ceramic Dogs --- Real old, or Just old??
Post by: antiquerose123 on August 30, 2011, 06:15:33 AM
 :) I bought these a while ago....

There remind me of those Stafford shire Dogs but when I look around on Google, all are sitting.  So not sure what to make of these.  Yes, they have some damage to the one, but to buy the 3 they were (cheap, cheap).  I can not make out the mark on the bottom due to the glaze.  So crazing on them -- but no idea.

Any items at all?  Are these Staffordshire Dogs, or not?  Are those always sitting??

thanks for any info....as I am not finding much here  :thd:

Middle one is a SylvaC Scottie Dog (also known as "Mac" dogs)

There are several mould numbers which are all different in height....
1205
1206
1207
1208
1209

That is Good, huh?  Think I read something on here about those.....I almost did not take the Scottie Dog, but it was a Deal --- All 3 pieces for $5.

The others are just newer item.....Boy, you have good eyes !!!!  I could not read that !!
