Hi
I bought this what i think to be 1950- donkey at a car boot sale but i have not been able to find any thing about it as it has no marks .do you think it could be a ash tray. Height 109 mm length 140 mm. Thank you

What a sweet little fella, Rob! :) Are there letters in the 3rd picture on donkey's side? It looks like O G followed by a swiggle S shape...?
I'd say probably not an ashtray, more like a small dish the sort of thing that might have held peanuts or even as a small wotnot holder (small change, keys etc.)
BTW what's this I hear on the grapevine about something good being found near me? Private email me about it if you prefer it not public atm. :kissy:

I'm going with the nut dish theory. What kind of nuts are found in Mexico, or Greece?

Greece likes nuts apparently: http://www.helleniccomserve.com/nutsaboutnuts.html - in Mexico they seem to have pecans, pine nuts and cashews.

It might be an ass tray :o :taped: :taped:,sorry :ao:
