The first looks Chinese, not sure about the other,I've copied the marks and will have a look in a bit when I've recovered from public transport fatigue, four buses and a train. :czy: ;D

I bypassed the printed marks on the Gotheborg site you recommended and which I now use as a reference site cus the mark is impressed

First piece is Chinese and is in a traditional 'hulu', or double gourd/ calabash form. It's a nice vase, but looks pretty much brand new to me. Keith is tight, the mark is a Jingdezhen mark in archaic seal script.

Second piece looks like Chinese Shiwan ware from Guangdong Province. These jars have been made for a long time. They were utilitarian pieces and later appear to have been used as burial gifts. There's a good article on Gotheborg about these jars here: http://www.gotheborg.com/index1.htm?http://gotheborg.com/qa/greenjar.shtml

The picture of the mark is upside down! The first character appears to be 生 (sheng), but I can't make out the other.

There's also an interesting piece about recent visits to the Shiwan kilns here: http://gotheborg.com/shiwan/shiwan.shtml

Steven, good to see you back, and to know you can reach the board. I wasn't sure if you could, as I have friends in China who can't access another site we host. Hope all's going well with you. :)

I've tried several times.
