Title: toucan - black mat colour - no marks - CAN YOU HELP IDENTIFY?

Hi there,
can anyone help me identify this beautiful bird? It measures about 6-7 inches in height.  There are no marks on the base.

Hello and welcome,the matt finish reminds me of Sylvac,they are sometimes unmarked,see what others have to say ;D

Hi Keith - many thanks for your response.  Yes, it reminds me of Sylvac too, - it looks & feels like Sylvac - but I can't find anything about Sylvac making toucans   :-\

I've had a look around and can't find any thing similar by them either,wait and see what the others say,it's been a bit quiet here recently and pottery is not really my thing,unless it's Japanese ;D ;D

I don't think it's Sylvac, i did find these which are unidentified but seller says his sister shopped at the likes of Next and M & S so perhaps something more recent?

Hi Tigerchips - thank you for your reply :*:.

The toucan that I have is very similar though not shiny like these sold on eBay.  I would be surprised if they are M&S or Next as those shops alwys mark their items and there are no marks at all on this toucan - but who knows? (certainly not me ;D).
