Hello, I have some Mudlen End pottery and I was intrigued to notice that one of my pieces shares the same code number as a totally different piece.
I have a Sally Lunns Shop which according to the schedules I have seen should be marked with the number 36. However, the Sally Lunns Shop that I have is marked 35 (S) which I know is the code number that belongs to the Cotswold Gatehouse.
Can anyone explain this? I was wondering if this is a rare mistake in numbering which might add value and what that added value might be.
