Title: Trying to identify a maker's mark on a square-ish vase.
Post by: ModernMinstrel on June 21, 2012, 02:18:33 PM
Good day to all!  I'm a newbie, so I am looking forward to being apart of the forum.  I hope someone can help identify this mark on the bottom of a vase.  It's quite muddled, but it looks like some type of building with words illegible around it.  Maybe the style of the glaze and the other marks on the bottom will help to identify it.  Thanks for your help!

hello and welcome to the board. I don't recognise your mark but it's not my area so hopefully someone else here will be able to help. :)

The vase is from Knabstrup, Denmark.
Someone of the listed designers would be the right maker.

TERRIFIC!  Thank you!

I went to the website to see if I could match the signature, but no such luck.

The designer is G?nter Praschak, and you will find "your" vase with scrolling down a bit:

Thanks so much.  I never would have made it that far without your help.  Greatly appreciated.
