Wow! That is nice Rob! Where did you find it?  :mrgreen: Does it say Reigned 60 years? If so it dates from 1897, the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Looks to be in good condition as well? It'd look fabulous black-leaded.

Yes it says Rreigned 60 years it would look good black leaded, and yes Keith it as a RD NUM,287788

Registered Nov-Dec 1896. ZEBO black leading is what you want if you decide to blacklead it  Rob - along with a lot of energy - I used to blacklead the cast iron fireplaces at the pub years ago and it's hard work!  (Middleton's in Kendal still sell it I think.)

Just checked the design number sequence on Great-Glass, Rob. The numbers relating to glass are there, but the non-glass ones can be dated by where they sit in the number sequence as well. http://www.great-glass.co.uk/glass%20notes/regnos.htm
