Title: Grey studio pot with cut out sections plus incised mark

This has me totally baffled... height: 3" diameter 4". Has irregular shaped holes cut out of it. Cream clay, grey marl-effect glaze. Incised mark which I've not been able to find... any ideas who, where, when please?

Well, if you want "what", I would suggest a lamp for a small candle.

That's a good suggestion, Carolyn, thanks. :) I use it on my desk to hold my small desk tools.

Votive holder, that's the proper name. It had disappeared out of my brain last night.
