as per usual I am sure Keith will be able to ID or date this vase which I bought recently

Hello cookie, probably about the 1920's-30's maybe a bit earlier or later, no marks ? certainly Japanese moriage as you say, ;D ;D

arrrrrrrrrrrrr there ya go, you always come up trumps lol.  Still too much to learn but picking up bits as I go along.  Unfortunately no marks hence the base pic

Not sure this is 'moriage' just applied with heavy enamels, 'moriage' has the figures in high relief, I'll try and find a picture to compare. Some times the marks can be tiny and faded although vases like this usually just have a number to the base if anything, ;D ;D
