Title: Hand signed pieces
Post by: nicole on December 30, 2014, 06:47:08 PM
Hi there, there is nothing on the bottom of this piece, but I am wondering where these come from without the 'made in Nippon" or "made in Japan" marks. (That is if they are Japanese :) )

Would they have been done by hobbyists or maybe meant only for domestic sale?

And is it identifiable or needle in a haystack detective work?

Thank you so much!

Well I've looked and you've got me stumped with this, hand written (Painted) stuff is always difficult to translate, my Japanese is very basic and Chinese non-existant, you could try the 'Asian Art forum' lots of native speakers there, sorry, ;D ;D

Understandable, I can hardly read my own handwriting in my own language sometimes! Maybe I will try that site. Will let you know if I get an answer.
