Title: Japanese porcelain plate w/ rabbits - ID = Matsumine Kiln
Post by: marketsquare on August 06, 2015, 03:28:03 PM
This is a very cute piece of porcelain. This 6 3/8" porcelain plate depicts 2 rabbits frolicking in a field under the moonlight. I did some research on this and i believe it is made by the Matsumine Kiln but i am not sure if that is accurate or when it was made. Again, any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The last image is upside down so if you flip it round the top mark says 'Matsu' and the bottom mark 'kiln' so you are probably correct, best I can do sorry, ;D

Thank you for the information. Is this a common design in your experience or more unusual? It is a cute piece, isn't it?
