Title: Small Blue Grainy Vase with Bird
Post by: Rabical on July 03, 2016, 12:33:02 PM
Any ideas who the maker of this vase might be? This looks pretty old, not sure of the decade either.

Vintage small blue vase with a nice grainy design,  though you have to get up close to notice it. The image embossed looks to be some sort of bird perched on a rock with some flowers behind. And also a gold painted rim. There's no markings on it whatsoever.

Height - 10cm
Diameter - 4cm

Weighs 72 grams.

My mother had quite a few vases like this one - all in different shapes and sizes, none of them (as far as I can recall) had a maker's name, but some had a small paper label marked FOREIGN.
